The company already assembled two lines last year, in addition to those now acquired, which has significantly increased manufacturing capacity. At the same time, thanks to improvements in productivity and weight reduction in packaging, significant savings have been achieved that allow a return of the investment in a very short period. Urola, which opened a commercial office in this country this year, manufactures PET blow molding machines (up to 12,000 units of up to 10 l capacity) and extrusion blow molding machines to process PE, PP, PS and PVC (for packaging up to 10 l); and it has a second transformation division that produces PE bottles, drums, plugs, hoses, etc., by blowing, mainly for auxiliary industry, automotive, agricultural market and industry. By sectors, the manufacture of machinery (division called 'Urola Solutions') represents 60% of its sales and the division of processed plastics ('Urola Packaging') the remaining 40%. In 2016, it achieved sales of € 15 million, 56% more than the 9.61 million of the previous year, with exports worth 9 million euros (5.77 million a year earlier) and the United States, the European Union, East, Russia, South America and South Africa as main destinations. Its staff that campaign amounted to 60 employees.
